The Purlin Mill

The Purlin Mill was founded in 2003 and is a leading producer of metal framing parts such as purlins, girts and Standing Seam. The company’s objective is to manufacture these parts as supplementary building components within the prefabricated metal framing sector.

At the Purlin Mill, the team works together to provide quality, custom-crafted metal framing components for its customers. It produces a wide variety of precision hewn, coated metal framing parts in an assortment of shapes, shades, sizes and functions. The available metal components include girts, purlins, eave struts, doors. The company also manufactures steel building accessories such as purlin and girt clips, nuts and bolts.

Purlin Mill uses only the highest grade of structural steel, Grade 55. Before packaging, each piece is also carefully coated with G-90 steel overlay for added protection and a superior product.

Cold formed metal framing is another service offered at Purlin Mill. This is an alternative to traditional buildings which typically involve wood or steel. Cold building is not only more cost effective, but also faster and provides a structure that is highly regarded as more durable and resistant to corrosion, pests such as termites. And at the Purlin Mill the customer can customize their structure to fit their specific needs. Said customer can choose from a variety of building styles: American Barn, Gambrel, Gable, Single Slope or a combination of any available style. Customers can also request added features such as tile and mezzanine floors, bays, eaves and overhangs. Not only does Purlin Mill offer design versatility, but our structures are also all designed with the unique geographic and climate of each individual client. Purlin Mill also guarantees all the parts used in the building are in compliance with local and state regulations.
